The Art of Stories

Games can become far better when they've got a good story in hand. The themes which each game claims they represent need to be backed up by a good story. Otherwise, players don't feel as engaged and in doing so, will lack some immersion.

I've done some story telling during my time in RP, from creating stories to analysing already created ones to learn more, I feel that I've got quite the grasp on what makes a story good and engaging.

Story Analysis

This is a report I wrote on a story titled "Even the Air is Still". In it, I've analysed different parts of the story, explored the themes and emotions behind certain actions and made suggestions as to how it may improve. Take a look.

Character Creation

Here, I've tried my hand at creating a character. I've attempted to make a weary soldier whose transition into civilian life is troubled by the scenes of war he has witnessed.

Story Creation

Here, I've tried my hand at creating an original horror story. It was heavily inspired by a game I had been playing then "Dead Space 2", have a look!
